In October 2009 she began her career as an idol and voice actress under the agency EBA Production, using the stage name Rio Yukino (雪乃 りお). On May 16, 2010, she made her singing debut at CLUB SEATA in Kichijōji, performing the original song "Hey Boy" together with her agency mate Yuria Yumesaki (夢咲 ゆりあ), forming the duo Animetic Placebo.
