Brandon Ash-Mohammed is a comedian, writer and performer. Most significantly, Brandon won a Canadian Screen Award in 2022 for his work as Head Writer for Season 2 of Canada's Drag Race. In 2018, he created The Ethnic Rainbow, Canada's first and only comedy show for LGBTQ+ comedians of color. In 2022, Brandon's comedy album, Capricornication, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Canada Comedy charts, and made him the first Gay, Black Canadian to achieve that honor. NPR's Bullseye named it "one of the best comedy albums of 2020." On camera, Brandon has appeared in the first season of Amazon Prime's Last One Laughing: Canada, CBC's Tallboyz, Amazon's reboot of The Kids in the Hall, was the Toronto correspondent for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and appeared in the hit tv show Heated Rivalry.
