Atmonadi, who was already rusty in the matter of making the audience chuckle, made his first film in Kuntilanak (1961). Then he got small silver roles in films: Si Djimat (1962), Daerah Border (1964), Behind the Glorious Tjahaja (1966), No Sorry for You (1971), Samtidar (1972), Last Tango in Jakarta (1973), Boyfriend (1974), Janur Kuning (1979), and others.
