Élise Desaulniers is the Executive Director of the Fondation Dépendances Montréal. From 2017 to 2022, she served as Executive Director of the Montreal SPCA. She has also written numerous articles and received the Grand Prize for Independent Journalism in Quebec in 2015 (opinion category) for an essay on feminism and anti-speciesism.
