Kostas Styliaris was born in 1940 in Orchomenos, Boeotia. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre. His first appearance was in 1963 with the "Theatre of Art", in O'Neill's play "The Iceman is Coming". From 1963 to 1966, he participated in performances of the "Theatre of Art". He appeared in the films "The Cannon and the Nightingale" and "The Travelling Players" (by Th. Angelopoulos).
