This was followed by work as an actor for the companies Marc Dorcel, Hans Moser, Dolly Buster, Videorama, MMV, Goldlight Film, Carol Lynn and Orion. From 1988, he appeared in the industry as an independent producer. In the following two decades, he produced numerous porn films for German companies. His work also included production stays in Jamaica and Turkey. He is also the creator of the reality series Straßenflirt from the production company Magmafilm. In 2016, Dormann was imprisoned for tax evasion and released on parole in February 2017.
