Yerkebulan Muratovich Daiyrov was born on August 12, 1986, in Karasaz village, Raimbek District, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. In 2008, he graduated from the Faculty of Musical Theater and Variety Arts at the T. K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. In 2021, he gained international recognition by winning the "Best Asian Actor" award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the movie Sunflower, directed by Eli Gilman. On July 25, 2014, he married actress Leila Muratovna Tleuova. The couple has two daughters, Kausar (born March 23, 2015) and Salima (born May 5, 2019), as well as a son, Bauyrzhan (born November 16, 2022).
