Later, she appeared in films such as 8mm (1999) and That Thing You Do! (1996). In addition to her acting career, she was active as a dancer and performed with Jane’s Addiction on their Relapse tour. She was also a member of the Pussycat Dolls when they were still a live cabaret show at the Viper Room in Los Angeles. Dawson was married to Hunter Bodine and is the niece of Tom Dawson.
