Aguilar has mainly worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) throughout his career, but has made several tours of Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) from 2005 until 2007. In November 2011, Aguilar left CMLL to join Perros del Mal Producciones and Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), where he went on to win the AAA Mega Championship in December 2012.
