An early pioneering synthesist and rock prodigy, he garnered his first number-one gold album as a member of the art-rock band Roxy Music at the age of 18. He was a founding member of `supergroup' UK; a special guest with Jethro Tull, King Crimson, and Yes; and contributed to several solo albums by members of Deep Purple and The Who. He has been featured on more than 50 albums and performed in more than 20 countries.
