As for the cinema, the late director Youssef Chahine presented him through his important movie (Alexandria, why?) and then participated in many important films, including: Bus Driver, The Ring and the Bracelet, Tal' Al Nakhl, The Egyptian Citizen. At the end of his life, Abdullah Mahmoud turned to the field of production, where he produced the movie (One Cappuccino), which is his first absolute starring, but he died in 2005 before the movie was shown in theaters due to complications from cancer.
